In ballet, I am fascinated by the dominating effort to create harmony between musical and terpsichorean dramaturgy and scenography that allows producing performances that goal is to open human psychology and characters in poetic-realistic on-stage situations.
Ballet requires a dancer – an actor who is capable of creating realistic personas by using means and methods that are characteristic of dancing. The dancer – an actor is first and foremost a human being who has the need to speak from the stage about one’s own self, as well as other people. This means trying to find one’s own self in them and their feelings in one’s art. It is just ballet that allows the human personality to manifest oneself and this is just one’s mission.
Every artist is guided by one’s own personal fantasy when creating work of art, an artist senses time in one’s own way and expresses it in these forms that most comply with one’s own individuality.
I like classical dance, which is the most conscious and the most perfect version of ballet’s language system. This system is capable of absorbing whatever experimental trends and thereby ensures a continuous progress, becoming enriched on their basis.
